As specialists in hydraulic tubing, we use a variety of joining methods in our metal fabrication every day to create safe and durable connections between tubing and fittings. These include force-fit and form-fit connections, as well as brazed and welded joints (WIG/MAG).

Fusion welding, in particular, is subject to strict quality requirements. These are defined in DIN EN ISO 3834 and are reviewed at regular intervals by TÜV.

We had such an audit scheduled for May. TÜV Nord spent a day reviewing our welding processes, procedure instructions and their documentation, the qualifications of our welders and welding supervision personnel, as well as our quality assurance system.

Since no deviations from the standard were found, we received ISO 3834-3 certification for another three years.
