Here in Selm, too, there are numerous families who are unable to fulfill their little ones’ Christmas wishes because they simply don’t have the financial means. To ensure that no one goes away empty-handed on Christmas Eve, the Caritas association Lünen-Selm-Werne e.V. has once again launched the “Sternenhimmel” campaign. The children concerned were allowed to write a Christmas wish worth a maximum of €25 on a golden star. The stars were collected and hung up in the toy store “Spielen & Träumen” in Selm on November 15.

Anyone who wants to support the campaign and become a wish granter can pick up one of the 300 stars, buy the gift and bring it back to the Sandmann family store nicely wrapped by December 12.
It pays to be quick, by the way, because the Selm residents are very willing to help and experience shows that the stars sell out quickly.
