Interhydraulik supports the “Sternenhimmel” campaign for the third time

This year, too, at Christmas time, we would like to think especially of the children who need our support and let the stars shine a little brighter for them. Therefore, Interhydraulik is participating for the third time in the Sternenhimmel campaign, which was initiated 4 years ago by the Caritasverband Lünen-Selm-Werne for the city of Selm.

400 stars are waiting to be picked up in the Sandmann family’s “Spielen und Träumen” store to bring joy to a child who would otherwise have gone empty-handed at Christmas.
Christmas wishes worth a maximum of 25 euros were written some time ago on golden paper stars by children and young people who take advantage of the open all-day program and/or services offered by Caritas Family Assistance. These are now hanging from the “starry sky” in the Sandmann family’s store.
As in previous years, citizens of Selm can choose a star, buy the desired gift and then return it wrapped together with the star to “Spielen und Träumen”.

For many people in Selm, choosing a star and buying the right gifts has become an integral part of the festive preparations. Quite a few add an euro or two when they buy gifts or supplement the gifts with sweets or homemade items.

The employees of the Caritas Association and the association “GANZ SELM e. V.” know the affected children and their families from their own departments very well and are aware of their hardships, concerns and needs. The gifts collected are distributed to the children and young people in good time before Christmas.
