For many children here in Selm, it is unfortunately not a given that there will be presents under the Christmas tree at Christmas. For these children and their families, the Caritas Association Lünen-Selm-Werne has once again launched the “Sternenhimmel” campaign this year.

Over the past few weeks, the little ones were allowed to write a gift wish worth a maximum of €25 on a golden star. The stars were collected and hung up in the toy store “Spielen & Träumen” in Selm on November 15. If you want to fulfill wishes like we do, pick up a star, buy the gift and bring it back to the store nicely wrapped.

A little tip: it pays to be quick, because the Selm residents are very helpful and experience shows that the stars sell out quickly.
