Working closely with the interior design specialists at Wietholt GmbH in Velen, we have developed a new spatial concept for our offices, meeting rooms, and break rooms. The goal was to combine two key objectives: to create a working environment equipped with ergonomic and state-of-the-art technology while also fostering a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere.
After many weeks of intensive planning, the phased implementation of the concept began in the summer of 2024. First, the offices were renovated, modernized, and – where still necessary – equipped with height-adjustable desks and furniture. Since most of our offices – despite the option of remote work – are used by several employees at the same time, special emphasis was placed on improving the room acoustics. This was significantly optimized through sound-absorbing floor coverings and acoustic panels in various designs. In addition, a new, energy-efficient lighting concept ensures pleasant lighting conditions at the workplace.
The new look of the offices was rounded out with attractive decorative elements and green plants.
There was particular excitement over a change that is barely visible but all the more “noticeable”: the long-awaited air conditioning. Both the administrative offices and the hose production area have been equipped with air conditioning units. This makes working on hot summer days much more comfortable.
The newly redesigned meeting and training rooms are also impressive. They are equipped not only with state-of-the-art audiovisual technology but also with new furniture that can be arranged to suit the type of meeting and the number of participants. Naturally, acoustics were also a key design consideration for these spaces.
The newly redesigned break rooms and kitchenettes, with their cozy seating and sofa areas, are particularly inviting for breaks or quick meetings.
Those looking for a bit more action can challenge their colleagues to a game of table soccer.
